IV Therapy FAQs

An IV (or intravenous infusion) is a solution of isotonic, alkaline fluids that are administered by a registered nurse through a small plastic tube (catheter) that is inserted into a vein via a needle that is removed as soon as the plastic catheter is in place. The IV fluid is either 500 or 1000 milliliters in quantity and takes about 30-45 minutes for your body to absorb 100% of the solution into the bloodstream. IV Infusions allow for high doses of vitamins and enzymes to be rapidly absorbed into the body.

A booster shot is an almost instantaneous injection of concentrated vitamins or enzymes that are delivered into muscle or intramuscularly. No IV access is needed for a booster shot.

Our IV infusions take approximately 30-45 minutes to enter the body and allow you to absorb 100% of the fluids, vitamins, and minerals.

All treatments are given by a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Board Certified Physician using the latest technology.

Most infusions can be administered to anyone that weighs at least 100lbs and is 5ft+ tall. Anyone under 18 requires parental consent. 

The benefits of an IV treatment typically lasts 1-2 weeks.

IV Infusions are generally very safe and the risk of potential negative side effects are minimal. Some side effects can occur such as feeling warm, faintness, or dizziness.
